Help: Hi totally new to the Triumph world but after Gixxers and R1s so glad the Triumph found me. I’m looking for some guidance but getting confused I have put a Tec aftermarket short X 2 exhaust once fitted was getting way to much popping, so was recommended to removed 02 sensors blocked off with eliminators so on and removed the Air injection. I did this and very little popping resolves and is so much quicker due to being lighter. Big issue now is surging especially in low gears if I can sort this I would be very happy. recommendations: 1. Iv been told to get a Power Commander and take it to get fitted and then tuned, cost ££££ crazy? 2. Or do you advise putting 02 sensors back in and fit this new fuel Booster Plug people are talking about but I’m told 02 sensors have to be fitted Back for the Booster plug to work and stop the surging? Any advice from someone who knows or experienced the journey. Big thanks. Gee
halfton: Spoke with guys at TTP and explained they listened and they recommended the TTP-EFI-Stage-1 TTP EFI Stage 1 Torq kit. £280 has the mapping download and the extras to ensure she runs smooth. Off on Holiday for a bit and will update once I get back. thanks again.
