T120 Black Vs. T120

Hello all,

I've got a standard T120, but want to swap the left and right engine covers to the black style covers as I like the look vs the brushed aluminum. Would anyone recommend any other T120 Black parts to swap out? I was thinking maybe the carb covers and camshaft cover. Thoughts?

I haven't ended up pulling the trigger on new covers just yet. Possibly on the schedule for spring though.

 

I had the covers on my T120 nickel plated, you could be different and get yours done in black chrome ! I reckon that would really nice.

 

Did you use a service near you? Do you have pictures?

 

Used a local place, will take some pick tomorrow and post. I don't think he did black chrome there but you should be able to find somewhere.

 

Nickle engine cases on my T120 , sorry to take so long but did a 4 1/2 houre ride on Sat part in the rain on mainly A roads but a few small back lanes, looked like I had been off roading ! Washed it when I got home and spent 4 hours on Sunday cleaning + did the chain. Worth it though !
