Going to start taking tank, panels front and rear fender off over the weekend on my Thunderbird 1600, they're off to a custom painter to be air brushed.
I'm a little worried about taking the rear fender off, how hard is it?
is there any pics or instructions on how to remove it please

With the bonnie, Thruxton its 4 tork screws under the seat. Plus unplug wiring loom. If it's the same loosen off all screws then before removing them support the mudguard before final screw removal or you'll find it falling off, good luck

i took off my Thunderbird 900 Rear Mudguard off no problem for painting. In fact i took off the whole back end. It looks harder than it is, just take your time and i would suggest that you take a photo as your strip so you have a reference when you put it back, also bag your nuts and bolts with a note saying where they come off. Simple.
