Hi all, thanks for having me here! I'm looking to purchase a Bonneville as my first bike and hoping to learn from the collective knowledge here as I embark on my motorcycle journey. Thanks for the warm welcome, all! I see this is a predominantly Brit forum which, to me, is good as I appreciate your humor and insight. I hope to be able to contribute soon enough, I'm looking at a 2001 and a 2006 Bonneville this weekend, though I'm hoping the '06 is the better of the two. We shall see but I'll post the results one way or the other.
I would also remind you that you have a few 18th Century quirks like ‘gotten’. We have used ‘got’ for 200 years and saved barrels of ink and atmospheres of breath......
