Hi and welcome! Two questions :-

    1) What's the "upg"?

    2) What year is the bike? If it's an early one and has a bolt-on cover over the rear crankcase top then the repair will be much easier and cheaper.

I'd advise you to limit the use of the bike until it's sorted.

Hi mate thanks for the reply the first ? Was a typo it meant to read upgrade and the second it is a 93 model and doesn't have the cover over the crank case so I guess it's a bit more of a job. Do I get the new part from triumph or any suggestions thanks all

You should be able to get the replacement parts through your main dealer but, be warned, this will NOT be a cheap, easy fix! It is engine out; invert, and split the crankcases! Sorry, there is no easy way with this one. I think any replacement parts you get - certainly through a dealer - will be the upgraded parts.

If you have serious trouble getting hold of the parts required PM me and I'll see what I can find on this side of the world!
