Stalled my speed twin 3 times today grrrrrr (blaming it on too much free play in the throttle) also am now noticing too much snatching/lurching at lower speeds from the throttle! I thought I heard somewhere about spacers that can be fitted? I've had a search on this forum but to no avail...................anyone point me in the right direction ;)

30 quid here in the UK  what's the postage from the US :scream: I'll just put up with it for now. I rode Ducatis for 10 years so this is a breeze

Fitted the spacer kit yesterday before a 100 mile trip, took less 10 mins but what a difference!

Coming out through central London, the throttle is smoother & much more controllable, almost up to BMW standards :0

Once out of London the bike feels like it handles better because there’s no throttle lag so it’s much easier to control getting the power down coming out of corners. I’m not a quick rider but I felt that it gave me more confidence so I was leaning further, braking later and powering through corners quicker.

It’s genuinely transformed the riding experience. I’m sort of glad that Triumph don’t send them out like this from the factory because you need to experience just how bad the original throttle is to appreciate just how brilliant it becomes once you fit the spacers.

Took approx. 10 days to arrive from America.

You got yours from the US, so presumably that worked out cheaper. How much and where from?

I got it direct from the makers HERE. I'm not sure if it was the cheapest option but it was the easiest and they arrived quick enough.

I'm surprised the guy that 3D printed these and sold them at £3 a set (here in the UK) hasn't gone back into production yet.

My spacers came today (much quicker than I was expecting) from the USA. Fitted them in 10 mins, easy. Haven't tried it yet but the play has definitely gone.

What's the verdict, I ask as we have similar taste, I have K-Tech front and back as well done by SJM

Just for info for any one considering making their own spacers, HomeBase sell a boxed selection of various security bits which include the No.3 Tri-Point required to remove the two security screws on the throttle housing. Currently priced at £6.50.

I certainly noticed the difference particularly in sport mode as the pick up is instant. Not sure it makes any difference to the hesitation at low speed in a slow corner but probably worthwhile.
