As a kid growing up I the 60's, my older brother always said the best bike in the world was the Bonneville. I dreamed of owning one when I got older, but never thought I would be in my 60's before owning one. A coupe of weeks ago I sold my superbike and bought an 05 Triumph Bonneville America. I never took a test ride, just bought it on looks alone. I have been riding for the last two weeks and I am in love. I love the sound, comfort and performance. I bought her new bags and am now customizing it to suit me.

Wow Ian, that bike looks gorgeous! No way you could NOT be in love... Welcome from Germany (I am the Hessian Rider... Sometimes even headless ) And mate, I just learned something utterly important: Last time, I travelled through Wales I succumbed to the delusional impression, I was on a small island. West of Sylt. Called Great Brexit .. uh Britain BUT I actually must have been in Australia! Lovely place. And really less far away than I thought! Cheers!
