Hi folks, I’m from Northern Ireland, I’m new to biking & never been on a forum before ! I came across this while searching for help on a problem I was having with my bike. I’ve a 2016 street twin which is currently in getting spark plug problems sorted so fingers crossed all will be well !
Welcome Lou, congrats on getting into the best hobby around, and the best forum If you’re having problems with your new bike then start a new thread and I’m sure you’ll get some help.
Welcome to the mad house, if you have any problems there are plenty of guys on here that will be able to help, ride safe mate.
Lou125 Welcome to the family. I guess Lou is Louise. Great choice of bike you have there. I have read that quite a few had problems with the Plug caps arching out against the cam covers. Easy fix. Where do you hail from in Gods own Country. I was born and bred in Bushmills now an exile and sadly missing my lovely lands. And you are doing alright just keep on posting and don't forget a picture of the steed. Just hit the upload a file button bottom right and let all us inmates see the steed. Nursey also encourages it as she gets a quite night while we ogle it. Regards & Ride Safe Joe.
Thanks Joe, yes it’s Louise. I know Bushmills well, I used to have a wee house in Portballintrae, love it there ! I’m from a wee village near Ballyclare if you know where that is. My son races motocross but I’ve never really rode, talked about it on & off, a friend bought me lessons for my 50th in May & here I am ♀️ I’m like Driving miss daisy at the minute but it’ll come, I love the bike & picking it up from workshop on Monday
Lou125 Yes I know Ballyclare. Yes you will get it and you will love the freedom of your bike. Portballintrae is a wonderful place and I to love it. There is a few members here from around your local area. Perhaps you will all get some sort of meet together. Next time I come home I will drop a note and hopefully we all can get together and shake hands. My brothers James and Andrew rode motocross think James still does and Andrews boys ride the junior class. Regards & Ride Safe. Joe
