Oh boy, Jez, I just had an enlightenment! It just occurred to me what db-eater means: db is Dutch and stands for De Benis... And another question: do they sell asbestic-condoms for when the engine is still ticking?
Already built a special "wellie Mount" so i can bring them ont he back of the bike with me to wales !!
[QUOTE=" And another question: do they sell asbestic-condoms for when the engine is still ticking?[/QUOTE] What... and spoil the fun ???
Do we know what a pcp deal will cost dilli, could fancy going back to a rocket, but can’t afford that cash price.
Not yet mate They apparently are gonna release finance details as of today 1st November I’m not gonna look into just yet as I’ve been trying to save up and might borrow the rest to buy my R3R outright
To be honest, Jez: all your Dickenesque orphanage poetry already makes ME feel pretty shitty... ...literally being an exchange-student... (at least as far as your wisdom implies)
That's the real question! Not really, DD. Reading about Nudgers little indicator tears just added to my sad remembrances of bikes past. But I do appreciate your efforts at cheering me up! Actually, buying a new bike always seems to cheer me right up which is sort of ironic because I am sad to let my traded bike go. But not (clearly!) sad enough to not trade it. Like I said in another post, "Stuff in, stuff out".
I agree Sandi, I never get that attached to a bike that I can't swap it for the latest squeeze , however I just can't miss an opportunity to take the p1$$ out of Dilli!
Having Nudgers cousin Neno, I feel like we have lost a family member DD. The “special” one who could tow things
2 months before Christmas. The obsolute BEST time to buy motorcycles. A clean bike like.that will not be homeless long. Bought 2 of mine in early December's past. Owners let them go cheap. ...J.D.
And hopefully Nudger will go to a good home with an owner who will cherish and care for him for the rest of his little motorcycle life! Well, until his new owner decides he (or she) needs an R3.
He will probably be told - one careful owner, never ridden in the wet. Not - used to be an artic towing a trailer with a hairy Jack Daniel's swigging maccem
If I could’ve I’d have kept him But I’m a one bike man Gotta do this Rocket thing Who knows if he’s in an adoption centre in a couple of years I’ll have him back in a heartbeat for now though....feck him
I must say, I have a soft spot for orphans. I cannot resist buying a "homeless" Triumph. The DOWN side is I do not have the heart to sell one. All three of mine were neglected and unloved when I got them. The Wire Wheels garage has no vacancies at this point. Mama has been kind and understanding, but I am not going to push that obsession any further. ...J.D.
