Steve Thanks for that most suppliers do all the scheme's but not this one they say they have never heard of Meriden blue but certainly worth a try to get some one to match against the bike. Its just to get a fly screen sprayed to colour as Triumph don't have this colour on their fly screens either. Regards Joe.
Yes the Newchurch comes with the thruxton seat. Loving this bike! Cant believe how light it is without the stock exhausts.
hey mozzie, just under the strap there should be a triumph label on right hand side. can you tell me what colour it is. as I think I have a gel seat but I cant tell any difference from the standard, I have one with a black label and one with a blue label. cheers
mozzie have a look at my post above yours and let me know what colour that label iis if you have the gel seat. still a nice bike tho'
That looks lovely Rich, you have after-market exhausts - probably TEC ones - so has the previous owner done anything on the inlet side of the motor? Removed the snorkel? Swapped the filter cover plate? Removed the airbox baffle? Removed the AI system? Remapped? If not there's power potential and smoother running to be had.
looking at the pics, Dave the AI and O2 are done and looking at the other stuff done to it one would assume all the other necessaries would be replaced, hopefully!
Yes guys, the emissions/power 'upgrade' is all sorted. It all seems brilliant to me (being clueless, but learning). The pick-up is amazing. Two snorkels in the spares box that came with it. Also Norman Hyde Ikon rear shocks, and front springs. I need to try softer settings on for size as the ride seems quite firm atm (my poor old hips going over speed bumps). I'll check the exhaust tomorrow and edit this. I'm too lazy to go out and check the name in the dark.
Hi Rich, that is almost certainly a TEC 2-into-1 exhaust. Sounds like you have bought yourself a very nicely kitted-out bike.
