You didn’t mate, your prop ended up in the bin via Sprinter. Ron’s looks like a genuine real deal d*ck
Hmmm.... call me conspiricy theorist... but if you zoom into that picture, it looks like Jeremy Beadle....
Looks like you’ve been playing around with my post @crispey old lad But don’t worry my room may be available as I’m not sure if I’ll be there anyway. In fact we could do a room swap for that weekend as I may be down London way that weekend, just tell Mrs Crispey that I like Black Pudding with my fried breakfast
I just tried to book the Mount Inn and you lot have filled it up!!! Had to book the Trewythen. So if anybody backs out please let me know
So I'm attending next year. As I can't be arsed to do an overnighter to Hull, on the wednesday I'll ride down to Calais, hop on the chunnel train and take it from there. I'll probably book a B&B some 60 miles from Dover. Any suggestions for a nice route to Llanidloes on the thursday? Preferably no motorways.
Vulpes,I thought i would do you a good deed and do a route for you, here goes- West on the A20 to Folkestone then pick up the A259 to Hythe then to Hastings, then just before Eastbourne the A259 turns into the A27 to Polegate then head north on A22 to Uckfield. You then head west on the glorious A272 taking in Haywards Heath, Billingshurst, Midhurst and Petersfield, then at West Meon you will be at the famous biker cafe "Loomies". Follow the A272 until Winchester then take the A34 north to Newbury. At Newbury turn left onto the A4 to Hungerford, at Malborough turn right onto A346 (around Swindon) the A346 then turns into the A419 to Cirencester, the A419 then turns into the A417, stay on the A417 around Gloucester the take the A40 (west) to Ross on Wye then the A49 to Hereford then the A438 to Willersley then the A4111 to Kington. At Kington left on the A44 through Pennybont to Rhayader. At Rhayader take the A470 to Llangurig then right on the A470 to Llanidloes. (THERE YOU GO)
@Vulpes are you a member of myroute app? if you are routes can be shared and downloaded onto your satnav
yup just under i should think, quite honestly if you take the a roads all the way itll take you a good days riding, probably 4 hours from dover to newbury and the same from there to llandidloes with good traffic. i have 2 routes one going from newbury ish and another from winchester, both great scenery and roads and both around 4 hrs, i could do you one from dover to meet up with either of those using the a272 and send you a file for either tt or gar but its better through myroute app as you can then check and amend simply
Let me know what you’re user name is, actually let @MrOrange know and he’ll invite you into the Triumph forum group
