Hello all. After months of dithering over a succession of predominantly Japanese inline 4s, a passing visit to a local indie dealer saw me impulse buy this here Sprint RS... One question I have is how much parts interchange is there between the RS and ST? I know the obvious differences like fairings, dash, swingarms etc. But is running gear, exhausts, shocks and so on common between the two? I see a lot of ST parts on eBay, but not so much for the RS.
I had to re-add the photo as the direct link to Flickr wasn’t working. I’m quite taken by the black frame against the yellow fairings, reminds me of the Phoenix Yellow that Jap import Honda’s used to come in. Wife and kids are less complimentary about my colour choices however. “Oh god you bought the yellow bike?” Were the words that met my sage buying decision.
