So_Cal_Aviator. Really I wasn't comparing. Just talking to the voices in my head. But as bikes go you really need to test them. Used you get someone else's bike. New you get a shiny machine and will know all the service and add ons as you are the custodian. I would just love to stand and listen to that car engine roar. Engines do that to me. Especially American built cars they sound right. Regards Joe
Gotcha. Although I am no video editing expert I do have a few mediocre videos of the car in action on youtube. "Bocajuniors55" is my user name. There is one nearby to me in my favorite color (silver) that has 6000 miles. If the price is right, I should probably have it checked out by a local dealership.
So_Cal_Avaitor Boy but that was just the voices again talking to me. But I will say good night now and I'm gone for a listen or should I say fix. Regards Joe.
Can you guys tell that I love this bike? A little on the slow side for me (upper rpms). Hope to add a little more oomph in short order. Surprised a 1200cc mill lacls in power. Regardless, this thing is a joy to ride.
Hi, So_Cal_Aviator! I'm late to this thread but want to say welcome to a wonderful forum and community of Triumph (and motorcycle in general) lovers. Your new Thruxton is a beauty! I had a 2016 R in Silver Ice but traded it just shy of a year ago for a Speed Triple RS. Much as I love my Speedy I still really miss the Thruxton sometimes. A very classy bike with loads of character and such fun to ride. Oh, and....I COVET YOUR GARAGE!!
