Yea, I don't know where that came from, once it was on I couldn't get it off. Maybe I fell in there once after a few too many pints, not sure. )

Thanks Bikerman! Something about that Triumph logo!!! I got a question for you. As you have probably heard, we like us some loud pipes in California, also is a safety issue with the crazy drivers we have. I have a set of Cycle Shack pipes from my Harley that just so happens the brackets almost meet up perfectly. Have you always stuck with the original pipes? J\Have you ever jetted your carb at all to accommodate for the newer pipes with increased air flow? Just wondering... Thanks!
I second Bikerman's comment. And I have changed all my Bonnie's for decent pipes never had to do any other mods. When I had my America I fitted cycle shack slash cuts and they were terrific never changed any bit. other than a free flow filter by choice. My bike was a 2006. Regards Joe
HA! That's an ache I can afford. Great, then I'll hold off on the carb. I am going to get it tuned up at a Triumph dealer anyway 1 mile from my house, yes, 1 mile, or kilometer. Sometimes my Trident 900 (a Thunderbird in disguise!) wears its original silencers. At other times it wears louder, lighter, shinier ones. Either way the carbs remain untouched!

Mark F Rolling I to like the Harley. I have had three wide glides my favourite. A 1981 Sturgis Evo. And a streetrod. The streetrod ended my love for them. I paid eleven grand almost for it. I wasn't getting on with it so about five six months later took it back to Maidenhead Harley they offered me five for it in a trade against an Dyna wide glide. That sickened me. So I came back to Triumph. But I do still get the yearning when I hear two or three travelling along the road. Harley is to me and always will be king of custom. Regards & Ride Safe Kenny. Joe.
