Back in early '95 I bought a new Daytona 1200 from Riders in Bridgewater. I moved to Ireland a couple of years later, selling it on to my mate Keith in Milton Keynes. After 10 owners and 24 years it turns up not two hours from me in Northern Ireland. I wasn't looking for it but I had to have it back! I duly did the deal and it purred all the way home. It needs some very minor attention but the engine is sound. Thanks to the previous owners for the copious oil changes.

Anyone out their recognise it, if so did you do anything of significance to it, e.g. starter sprag modification? It is pretty much 100% original at the moment, just the usual modified clip-ons mounted above the top yoke instead of below.

didnt realise you could get a main stand on these, I will have to look into this, sidestand is a bit too short !

It didn't come with one and someone else must of fitted it. These frames are the same for a multitude of models as you might know and lots of parts are interchangeable. I don't know if this stand is off another model in the range of the day or a third party extra. Sprint Manufacturing list one for the Daytona but showing out of stock. https://www.triumphparts.gbr.cc/
