It's National Drink Beer Day! Not that anyone on this forum needs an excuse--or even a good reason--to drink beer. I'm not certain in which particular nation it's actually is National Beer Day. I suspect the U.S. But in honor of this revered day, let's drink a toast to beer lovers everywhere. And in honor of my UK forum buddies, here's what I'm drinking tonight.
Well, it is "officially" (in some nations somewhere) National Beer Day! See the previous post--there is a photo so it's official. From the looks of your photo, Oz, it appears that you celebrate holidays in style. Or at least in quantity!
Sat in Angouleme for the next 3 days, about to go down to the Blues Rock Cafe for a quiet unknown one........I know there's no pics yet but getting this in now just in case it turns messy Edit:
I used to drink VERY cold special brew (only 2 cans) great connoisseur!! First brewed to commemorate Winston Churchill’s visit to Denmark. Now it’s been altered due to Leftie pressure. Tastes crap now. Local police visited our local offy and tried to ask her to stop selling it, she told them “no” all my customers get vetted by me and are responsible drinkers ! To be fair she takes no nonsense. I’m a bit partial to a bit of “Marston’s “ old Rodger” bottled bitter. My uncle calls em “ depth charges or sleeping meds “ very nice drink, drink cool but NOT cold B&m sell it. About 8.2% Disclaimer “always drink responsibly”
i'm 2 days into a fortnight off work, so will be taking full advantage of drinking on a school night Got some King cobra for tonight
