Fitting Arrow cans

Apparently yes it will need a basic dealer remap for these. Someone on here quoted about 1/2 hours work? Circa £30?

 

I just contacted a local dealer that has a Dynpro, but wouldn't touch my Speed Triple as it doesn't have Power Commander installed!
They wouldn't change the mapping in the ECU. I thought that was the idea behind a Dyno system so that the mapping can be changed/tweaked to get the most out of it whether in power/economy or just smoother running.

As I can use TuneECU, is it a matter of finding a map for a similar set up as mine and risking the engine doesn't go pop, or should a Dyno service from a reputable service centre be capable of updating the map I have in the ECU?

I have changed the air filter for a K&N, the SAI has been removed and it has high Arrows without baffles.
There is a Map in Tune ECU (20535MAP.hex) but I would like a custom job to really make sure it isn't running lean and make it smooth.

That's a 1 hour journey for me so certainly doable.
I just called them and the lass was very helpful
£30+ odd quid for the throttle bodies to be balanced plus £200 for the mapping. £250 max for 3 hours

Said they analyse the mapping at throttle increments of 5%, (I understood some Dynos do it at only 100%!) so they to a full throttle range analysis, very thorough.

They even do suspension, I could get them to look at my front forks!

Looks like it could be an early Christmas present to myself

I got my bike back from having the valve clearance checked and all are almost dead centre
So I have now booked my Speedie in for a Dynorun at Steve Jordan Motorcycles as you recommended.
