What's Your Most Hated Tv Ad ?

Like others on here, I don't watch much telly, especially the commercial sort. But I do watch the British Superbike highlights on the ITV player app.

The adverts that really annoy me are the ones for online gambling. I'm not a gambler (I just don't get it), and the adverts seem to be pushing it as an exciting lifestyle that makes people seem cool. I suspect they are designed to suck in folks who are vulnerable to becoming addicted, and the slogan at the end "when the fun stops, stop" is just a sop to make the gaming companies seem responsible.

To be clear, this is not a dig at people who enjoy an occasional flutter or gambling within an affordable budget. It's the adverts I hate.

or kids the same . lets have a kids advert , must have black/ muslim/ indian kid in

just ramming p/c bollocks down your throat

 

Any advert that has an American style voice talking so fast that you miss what they are saying.

 

If they are eating that many, the Chinese are at risk of being obese!

 

Believe me, it’s not worth hearing...

 

Not that I do not respect anybody’s preferences, and indeed will fight valiantly to support those rights as a diversity advocate, but I don’t want anyone’s bollocks down my throat.

Just saying...

 

Yeah, I agree with that. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, religion, politics; they can be of any race or creed. Just don't try and force me to think or act the same way... I give you the right to your own mind, have the decency to give me the same consideration.

Sadly, it doesn't seem to work that way, does it?

 

BT adverts... Hyper fast broadband. With speeds up to 25mb!

And there it is, in a nutshell, right there. "Up to".

That's why we get 0.5mb broadband speeds here... Its "up to" 20mb....
