Just saying hello, I'm new to forums so hope that this works, I ride a 2011 Speedmaster. Found a card on my bike at Poole on Tuesday night so thought that I would give it a go.
Cheers guys, will get some pics sorted soon, just off today to get some new tyres I've managed to squeeze 14k out of the OE Metzlers. I'm going for Continentals this time, not too much choice for this bike but will see how they go, some say not too good in the wet but as you can see from the mileage I ride like a granny.
God knows what those OE Metzelers are made of mate? They're bloody impossible to wear out! An Italian guy has fitted some Pirellis to his & rates them, Bridgestone do some to fit my '11 America & Avons do a white wall, I'm fancying a white wall, though it might look a bit gay, hey ho. IMO Metzelers vary between shite & lethal in the wet, & I ride like a granny too. :redface:
Yeah, I've had a couple of interesting moments in the wet over white lines with the Metzlers trying to stop quickly, or just stop really and stay upright. Dynomite of Bournemouth are supplying and fitting the tyres for me, have used them before and are helpful and reasonable price, better than Triumph dealer anyway.

The 14K Metzlers have gone re-booted with Conti Milestones, so far so good almost finished running them I did avoid any whitewall options though. They've got a decent tread pattern but the testing will be in the cornering although went down to Poole Quay with the missus on the back which helped get a bit more tread on the road!
