My Tiger is fitted with Triumph heated grips. I want to change the handlebars. How do i get the remove the grip on the left side and can it be reused and working?. The throttle side is a doddle as it's on a tube.

Poke a small screwdriver down the grip then squirt some wd40 down, work your way around the grip, then get a longer screwdriver and do it all again and it should come off with no damage, that's how iv'e done it in the past.

Sorry just re-read your post,if they are triumph one's then they won't be glued they will probably be screwed into the bars in 2 places, just slightly pull the grip back from the switch end,you should then see one of the screws, then you will have to drill your new bars,or fit oxfords which are far better anyway.

Cheers. Decided that the chrome bars old fashioned looking. Am trying to find a new set in the same pattern but in brushed alloy or matt black.
