That’s the one. In defence of Glyn , if I have a bottle of Whisky/Whiskey/Rye/Bourbon etc that I can’t drink neat because of its character... I experiment with usual diluents, usually- 1) room temp water 2) ice 3) ginger ale 4) green ginger wine 5) coke If I don’t like it with one of them, it’s lighter fuel! I was on Valkyrie APA last night, but when I needed to freshen my taste buds... this was absolutely bob on for the job! Elvis juice extraordinaries
Haha, DCS! Nice "diluents" list. All a good idea--though I've no idea what green ginger wine is and it sounds suspicious to me. If I had a bottle of whisky/rye/bourbon that I ccouldn't drink neat, I'd probably "regift" it to someone who doesn't care or can't tell the difference. Then I'd have to do some soul-searching as to how that bottle wound up in my possession. Maybe too much whisky/rye/bourbon? I'll bet that grapefruit wheat beer is a great refresher in the summer!
