Taking delivery of a very special Thruxton TFC tomorrow. I'm told it's 1 of 200 to come to the USA (I think this one is numbered 178 of 750) so I may not see another one on the road even in the big city of Los Angeles. Does this mean I'm parking it in the garage and selling for profit in 10 years? Oh helllll nooooo.. Going to daily drive it and enjoy it as it should be. I'm new to Triumph but not new to bikes. Any recommendations? I notice it sounds too too quiet so first thing to go are the baffles and cat.
Glennsmooth. Welcome to the family. We the inmates will wait patiently for a picture of the steed. Calms us down as nursey medicate us. Ride Safe & Enjoy. Joe.
Lol! I hope to grab some photos and videos of the actual un-crating... Untouched by groping showroom hands is the best!
Glennsmooth. Just like the birth of a new life in the making. We will wait with baited breath. Regards Joe.
Welcome neighbor ! I'm up in Victor Valley ! Worked in the downtown L.A. highrise district for many years. You'll enjoy your.new Triumph, I'm sure. ...J.D.
Finally getting around to uploading some pix! The bike is awesome. My other rides are going to be so jealous. Welcome to a terrific forum, glennsmooth, and congratulations on your beautiful new Thruxton TFC! What a cool bike. Another of those 200 in the U.S. is on the showroom floor at my local dealership in Tucson. I drool over it each time I go there. I've had two Thruxtons but neither like this special addition to your garage. Speaking of your garage, do I see a H-D Iron in there? Just what are your other jealous rides that you mention?
