The fact that the first service has come up so quickly is a measure of what a great bike the new Speed Twin is. Only just discovered this forum and it's good to see what everyone else makes of the bike and what they are doing to them. I'm interested in the suspension as although adequate, I feel this early on that it could have been better given the marketing and the impressive brakes. Some people have already found the Ohlins cartridge kit and alternative rear dampers it seems, so I'm not the only one. I sold a Multistrada about 4 years ago which had electronically adjustable preload for luggage and pillions, hung up my leathers thinking that was it. But I saw the Speed Twin, couldn't resist a test ride and loved that engine so much I had to have one. I used to have an original black Speed Triple from Hinkley. Definitely in the honeymoon stage with the new bike though!
