Am I alone in believing that this was the biggest con since someone invented religion.

I think there was something like 400,000 people involved in the moon landings so on that score alone it seems unlikely that if it was faked somebody wouldn’t crack and spill the beans, having said that, some of the photos leave a lot of questions unanswered like why is the inside of the astronaut’s left leg lit up when the light source is from behind. The lack of stars was explained on a program I watched yesterday and is all to do with camera settings, the moon being very bright needs settings that wouldn’t allow the stars to be visible at the same time.

I’m guessing but the rover or landing capsule seems to be in front and to the right of the astronaut. It is covered in reflective material...

Conspiracy theories make me laugh. It’s like the flat earth people. Their arguments are based on pseudoscience and incorrect premise on which they extrapolate daft ideas. I have work with scientists working on GPS and Galileo - no one from the Government has been around to ‘fix our maths’ so the satellites orbit properly over a flat earth. Fucking idiots. Why would ‘they’ the Government even have a conspiracy in the first place?
I suggest we push all flat earth believers to their deaths over the edge... only they would be quite safe and home in time for tea...

I believe they probably got there, but the photos were so shite, they faked them.

Can't spend billions of dollars and no proof, do spent a few more just to give the public something to show.

    That's my theory.

    That’s so true ;):)

There’s apparently a saying in the forum: no photo? Then it didn’t happen!

All the extra UV light might have fogged the film...

Or the astronauts used all the film doing amazingly rude zero-g selfies in the lunar module...

    :joy:

i remember watching the landing at primary school on a little black & white TV,pictures wern't great. i watched a tv programe years ago about it all being a fake..lots of unanswered questions from NASA,there were so many reasons that at the time i came away convinced it was fake.i'm sure the 400,000 folk working on it were all 100% convinced it was real..they would though as if it was fake i would imagine there wouldnt have been that many that would be told, any interviews i've seen with the guys that claimed to have walked on the moon were not great and they all looked a shifty lot and not very convincing. saw an article the other day by Jeremy clarkson he was saying when Buzz was about to get interviewed he turned to the presenter and said..no questions on the moon landing  ..maybe they did land with Appollo 11 or on future missions we might find out the truth eventually, don't think i'll be around to find out though!

The capsule was covered in lights and white material is reflective.

Presumably a secret moon landing was later made in order to place the footprints and debris from the first landing there for modern high definition telescopes to see. Bloody clever this NASA lot.

Will people stop mentioning the moon landing. All it does is remind me ive been on this planet for over 50 years and it's making me feel old. :sob: Yuri Gagarin in 61 circling the moon. Then i remember watching the landing on our old B/W TV that looked like an orange box. Then i was the Concords first flight 69 then England V Brazil 72. A Sinclare calculator that you had to build yourself. Mobile phones and then home computors and Emails. The space station. What next? Machines taking over :dizzy:

I'm not a non believer Rich, just question some of the details in some of the pictures even tho I know a bit about photography.

Fair enough mate, but all of the conspiracy theories about the photos have been pretty much debunked.

Let me throw a curve ball - The Pentagon, where was the crater left by the crashed aircraft, where was the wreckage, what about the air fuel etc etc. Ever since aircraft took to the air - if they crash - they make one heck of a mess. Never has one punched a round hole through a building.

Couldn't quite work that one out either, somewhere there was mention of the fact that street lights etc were flattened, allegedly by the plane's wings but the jury is out for me on that one.
