Morning All. I've been a member of the Explorer forum for a while and decided to jump across here. Not been without a bike since I was 15 although I've slowed down considerable as the years have progressed. Now I prefer the comfort of sitting upright, and have gone back to the lower maintenance of a shaft-drive so my trusty steed is a 2012 Explorer. It's used a lot in the summer up and down the motorway to work, but since I got a car and it's no longer essential to ride all year, my ride-all-winter days are over, and when they are gritting, my bike stays inside (my exhaust don't like road salt!) We also like trips abroad, nothing far out, just northern Europe where we can get to through the tunnel or the Spanish ferry. On these trips we do not cover much ground in one go, preferring to avoid the motorways and soak up the scenery. Favourite areas so far have got to be the Picos and the Pyrenees. Hubby rides a Tracer 900, and Dad's got a T100 (after he saw one I had as a courtesy bike once). Keep it shiny side up!
Welcome Charlie, sounds like you’re enjoying your bike more these days. Let’s see a pic or two of her then.
Ah, you see to me it's a "him" and he's called Joey! Daft I know, but I've named most of my bikes over the years!
Hi Charle and welcome to the forum nothing daft about naming your ride. Most guys use gals names so Joey is more than appropriate.
Welcome to the forum, Charlie! Always nice to see another woman join the mix. Nice bike you have! Thanks for sharing the photos. Joey seems a good name for him!
