Hi , 2011 speed triple , removed a Arrow lowboy full system and replaced with twin high rise Arrows mainly for the look but now I've done it , the sound as well The problem is I have put the original down pipes and centre section into the one into two linkpipe that then goes into the cans . The bike starts and ticks over fine but when you ride it between 3-4000 revs the throttle feels vague like a flat spot , do you think it needs a remap or something else ?
Hi Tim, and welcome. I do believe that there is a different fuel map for the low exhaust and the twin exhaust. A dealer could sort you out and it can also be done with an app called tunecu using a laptop.
Welcome to the Forum, Tim! I'm a Speed Triple owner too but won't be very helpful with mechanical issues. I'm better at "decorating" my bikes than wrenching on them. There are a lot of great guys on this forum, however, who have great knowledge and are very helpful chaps.
