Some Or All Gmu In Doubt

    Guys, I have to warn you that I may not make it for some or all of the GMU.

    My Dad is in hospital and is quite poorly. He has a growth on his pancreas which has stopped it working properly and this has made him very jaundiced. He’s eating very little. He’s 90 this year so we’re all worried. I will be getting the ferry as planned on Wednesday evening so I can go see him on Thursday but whether I’ll still be riding up to Bellingham on Thursday evening I just don’t know at the moment. Nor even if I’ll be on the bike or in the car.
    The hospital was supposed to be doing an operation today but it got cancelled till Wednesday. No reason given.!!
    Everything is up in the air at the moment. But not cancelling anything yet. This is just to let you know the situation.

    Thanks for letting us know. Sorry to hear your dad's not doing well, hope the hospital get him sorted out soon.

    Family is no.1, don't worry about us, we'll just miss you horribly;)

    Ok at least hes in the uk I’m guessing which would have saved another ferry trip to see him. Hope things work out. Eric

    Don’t worry about not being at the GMU, family comes first and I sure there’ll be other meets.

    Well I'm on the ferry but with the car. I cancelled my hotel room too as I'll definitely be staying at my Mum's on Thursday.
    So if I do make it up to Bellingham I'll have to try to get a bed in the bunkhouse.
    Dad's supposed to be having an operation this afternoon so I'll be ringing my Mum soon to find out if they did it and how he is.
    I'll have a better idea tomorrow evening if I'll be up for the GMU or not.
