Finally got my tank and mudguard back from the painters after my wife reversed into the bike. I miss the old burgundy and white colours as I had a T140 in 1979 the same colour, but I'm really pleased with the new look. Paint was done by Terry Potter at Precision Mcycle Paint in Nth Crawley, near Newport Pagnall, I recommend him. Terry also chopped down the mudguard a bit, not enough to make it useless, but so it gives a cleaner line.

Haven't ridden it in 2 months.

    Happy days.

Looks brand new! The blue and chrome go great together, nice bike.

Life was fraught for a day or 2 afterwards, but you have to have a sense of humour!

No idea what blue it is, just picked it out from paint pots available, but you are right, it is like that Tahiti blue colour.

I agree about the chrome. The original paintwork was an 8 ball custom one which I really liked but the plainer blue is better with the chrome cases.

    Cheers all.

Looks great. And that's life sometimes we all have accidents. Your poor wife must have felt really bad.
    Regards
    Joe.

I love the blue. Why on earth haven't you been riding it these past months?

    Thanks.

Simply because it took almost 2 months to get the tank painted after the wife knocked the bike over. The guy I took it to was snowed under with work, but I'm glad I waited as I do really like the job he did.
