Took my 1980 Bonnie for its MOT today at Bransgore on the edge of The New Forest, nice warm day so pleasant ride to garage. Passed with no problems and apparently gave good brake test results One of the mechanics fell in love with it and took a picture for workshop wall (takes all sorts) and started offering me good money for it. Then I got chatting to owner who is having extension built, and it now seems they will be paying me to install cctv in a month. So left in a good mood and decided on a ride round the forest and down to the beach for lunch....as I took off from garage I got scowled at by a couple of plastic bobbies for some reason ??? (don't think they liked the noise)....which made me feel even better. Apart from having to avoid a mini stampede of cattle.. again I made it safely to the beach for lunch and chat with several other grumpy old git bikers. So thats why it was a good day Graham
Funny you should say that....just started raining, and thunder storms on the way, so me and Frodo the dog have retreated to workshop, notice he always get best seat
Yes he is a fantastic little fella.....he is going to be cameraman stunt dog this weekend for a friend of mine. He will have camera strapped to him while he gets up to his mad antics...jumping off cliffs, swimming underwater, and the like! Will be the demo video on his new business venture....provided he doesn't chew the camera to bits
I should add, the 15 metre rope he is on, is for no other reason than to protect the cats on other side of road, he hates cats with a passion, and the last time he got at them they didn't come home for three days, and will no longer cross the road.....when he sees a cat the red mist comes down and NOTHING will stop him....but apart from that and his sometimes reckless H&S decisions, he is a good dog.
