Being reminded of the existence of the town by @BonnieCat 's visit I decided to revisit Elburg this morning.

Had a ride up Lythe Valley, across to Devil's Bridge then up to Kendal. Got home just as weather was looking gloomy. Loads of bikes out and a good ride out but not feeling the need for speed today so was pootling. This is a murky view over Morecambe Bay towards Lancashire. IMG_20190623_153919.jpg

    Hey,

just came back from 10 days in the Pyrinese (Catelonia/Spain), and it was an amazing and highly recommend it as a bike destination. We shipped our bikes from Norway, picked them up near the airport in Barcelona and drove up to a lovely small town called Tremp. There are so many great twisties near by, including the famous N-260, which is like 600km of twisties :) So we just stayed in the same place and did daytrips of about 240-400km. Was kind nice not having to pack the bikes every morning.

One of the first days we drove through a small bit of France up into the mountains to Andorra, where several of us switched to new tyres, I switched from SPv3 factory tyres to S22's which I'm superhappy with so far after ~2000km. We had lunch at about 2000m, and drove up to the highest point at 2400m and down the mountain again, and back into Catelonie/Spain.

The roads are super, there are almost no cars (except we met the entire French Sorsche and lotus/caterham club over one of the mountains), It seems like somone tried to create the worlds greatest gocart-track over some of these mountains.. Some of the twisties are almost without any straights for 300km!!

We stopped by the Marc Marquez museum and fanclub in Cerveza, and got some swag. I got a buff for the neck which is nice because its thicker around the neck than the other ones I've seen, and a band for the break-liquid. I can understand why Marquez is so great, driving in these twisties from a young age.

After returning the bike was super dirty and needed a thorough wash.

Have attached some photos, and a short unedited video from driving from our hotel to the twisties. These roads are just the roads on the way to the twisties, but pretty cool none the less! Unfortunately I need to get a new PC before being able to edit these HEVC videos, so will post some more videos on Youtube later.

    Cheers!

Beautiful part of the world. I’ve flown over there and been round that area in the car but have yet to go on the bike. Definitely one for the bucket list. :grinning:

Hey, its mounted on the side of the helmet, near the lid. Its the only place it fits on this helmet, its an airoh helmet with some aerodynamic trickery to straigjten it selv, i didn't think about it when i got it, would have preferred to have it in front.

The smoothness is the gimble-like hypersmooth feature of hero7 camera. The back and neck also works great as shockabsorber.

    Cheers.

I have my camera on the tank now as when I had it on my crash helmet every time I moved my head the camera would move with it..i never realized how much my head moves when I'm on a bike until I got a camera!
