Thats about twice the length of the ones you see in the UK..you do get some cracking motorhomes in America
My neighbour has a converted, full size bus. He parks it in between our houses. What I love most about it, is that when he starts it up, he has to leave it warm up for 15 minutes before he can drive it away. The rumble through the house and diesel fumes are just great. Makes me want to get one too.
yeah that used to be the case for mine also, as you cant move until air pressure builds up for the suspension and brakes. It would stink up the garage until your eyes watered. I added an external compressed air connection, so I could fire it up and drive out immediatly.
Got passed yesterday by a Ford Ranger Wildtrak camper. The roof was lowered and the sides retracted - nice piece of kit. Would look great with my R3 on a trailer behind.
I went a different route for my race weekends... Can take the bikes too, or use it to get out and about once set up.

The main issue with carrying a bike on the back is basic physics. Leverage and bending moments created by a heavy bike a fair distance behind the rear axle could dangerously affect stability. Uphill junctions combined with front wheel drive could prove expensive on tyres! Force x distance needs to be assessed, a long overhang might limit your bike choices to a moped Motorhomes with rear garages are great but arent cheap, the last one i looked at was £110k secondhand A friend of a friend had a nice homemade one that could carry two cbr600s. This was great until i questioned the stability. Apparently they have to put the generator next to the van gear lever and carry additional water barrels similar positions to improve the steering at 70 on the motorway

A couple of guys I race with have them, the only complaint I hear is bike gets very dirty unless you use a cover which is a bit of a faff to secure so that it doesn’t flap or let spray off road in.
