I’ve just found that the rebound adjuster on my 2001 Daytona 955 rear shock is seized up, so I was wondering if anyone has had one of these shocks rebuilt?
I’ve thought about getting an aftermarket shock but would ideally like to keep the bike original so a rebuild would be good if at all possible.
Has anyone any experience of this, any recommendations of where to get it done and ball park costs?

How many miles has the shock done feck? I think they have a finite life. I would have thought a refurb would be in the order of @£100. may be better to bite the bullet and get a decent new shock if you intend keeping the bike.
you could try Ktech for a refurb quote

It’s only done about 17k miles so should be good with a refresh.
It’s got compression and rebound damping so it’s not bad spec and is in decent nick really. I looked at Hagon, Nitron etc and it’s £450+ for a new one of similar spec.
