You are both absolutely correct and thank you. I decided to enquire as to the cost of three new leads and three boxes from Jack Lilly. it came out at just under £400.00. I wanted to walk outside and punch the first person I saw in the face. Anway I found an extremely helpfull company on the Internet who's name escapes me at the moment who supplied the coils for half that. The leads look ok. I'm thinking the one that was shorting had just worked its self free and about to become disconnected. I will post the name of the company as they were extremely knowledgable and helpfull. So hopefully my problems are solved....thanks once again Keith and biglad for your help..

Hi, Just like to post that the bike is now fixed and running ok, did a 60 mile ride yesterday to check it out and all fine. As I had tried everything I could think of,I returned the carbs to the specialist firm that had rebuilt them for me, to see if they could find anything. At first everything looked ok, but on close inspection with a magnifying glass the new pilot jet in No1 seemed to have a burr up inside, not drilled out correctly,to the naked eye it looked clear and you could blow through it. Fitted 3 new pilot jets and re-fitted the carbs ( getting good at this now) all fine.
Would like to thank everyone who helped to sort out the problem

Hi, The carbs were done for me by Allens Performance Ltd, local carb specialists based in Bingham near Nottingham. They are a excellent firm to work with and very helpful guys, cost wise mine came in just under £300, labour was only £55 the rest was parts, price for bits in Mikuni carbs are really expensive and it obviously depends on what's required, they only use genuine parts
Yes Keith this was the first time I have ever come across a problem like this one, strange to say the least, the first thing that I suspected was a blocked pilot, but it looked ok to me and because it was new I thought it's got to be ok.

My dick’s girth is easily 6” but not sure how to measure my brain. It’s a three dimensional shape so volume may be more appropriate?

I see you have resurrected lots of threads about side stand switches and asked random questions in each.

Please create a new thread and explain your problem.

I and others would be keen to help.

    How about providing

    a) you bike type
    b) year
    c) description of problem
    d) what have you tried already to fix the problem
    e) photos of the problem if appropriate

You stand more chance of getting an answer doing that than insulting people

Not sure i want, or need, anymore help from you mate. So far, you have just jumped on my comments, and taken the piss, I have actually started a couple of threads, neither of which, you have offered any help on, So rather than poncing around, with your smart arsed comments, How about you actually do something usefull..

I have simply asked you to properly post your problem. Instead you resurrected loads of ancient posts that made us read them from the start only to not be given a clear understanding of the problem you are experiencing.

Why are you cross at me?

Use historic posts to find a solution. If that doesn’t work then create a new one providing all your problems, observations and an exact description of what help you need.

Just looked at your history. All you have done is comment on old posts recently.

Which are the new ones you created asking for help that I missed (and the forum logging system overlooked)?

Mate, you want to put that bottle down, and change your settings, so you dont get sent every new comment, and stop pestering me. If you have nothing constructive to offer, don't reply to anymore of my comments.
