Thank you guys all very much. It's been fantastic corresponding with the community and getting your input. I'm sure the Tiger will be back to full strength within a couple of days. Steve, I see you hail from Winchester. I used to work for a really wonderful Winchester company called Conder Structures. Many happy years and memories If you guys want a really great place for a trip, try the Stans in Central Asia. There are interesting places to see and fantastic scenery... Cheers again
Hi folks, thought I'd update those interested. I tried the three hot/cold cycle thing but the engine warning light didn't go off so I bought one of those computer programmes to identify fault codes, loaded it onto my laptop, connected to the bike and voila, found the fault and cancelled it. I just returned to Kyrgyzstan after riding the Pamir Highway through Tajikistan. It was a must do while living in this region. The Tiger never missed a beat and there were no mishaps except for one rear tyre puncture. My mate was on a new KTM and I'm delighted to report that the Tiger was every bit as accomplished and probably more rough terrain friendly. Thumbs up all round. Enjoy your summer's riding and be safe. Cheers...
Hi Bob On,glad to hear that all is well and the Tiger is living up to it's promise. Keep on truckin' and stay safe.
