Is that a D and D race system? If so whats it like? Did you have it mapped?

I ordered one for a new thruxton I pick up next week, the dealer said they can fit it but would only be able to put the arrow system map on it as they don't have the software

Just interested in what you did with yours and the big question...how noisy?

    So far so good

Only put 150 miles on her but enjoyed the experience. The more casual riding style is refreshing, don't get me wrong when I want to get silly I have the option in the garage but I definitely see the appeal. I get the whole image/theme thing, its nice to be out without wearing one piece leathers but at the same time wear something that gives protection but doesn't stand out in the pub!

The bike is nice, relaxed, suspension is ok but I have no doubt it could be better. It is quicker than it looks, no real dramas overtaking traffic but again it's within limits. It certainly turns heads and once the loud pipes are fitted it will sound like it should.

The tires seem fine but thats without really pushing it, brakes took a little getting used to, not the usual brembo stuff but once I adjusted my riding and head to the bike I really liked it.

Pipes and ohlins to be fitted soon I hope, still waiting on them being delivered. I will be taking her over to the IOM TT for the full 2 weeks so proper mileage and some great roads will really test our relationship.

Its a rare occasion that I have a bike that my abilities actually out ride it rather than the bike being some way beyond my limits.

    Ian,

It's ok but I can't compare with or without plus as I am running her in I am haven't really done much over 70

If I am honest I think I prefer the look of the bikes without the screen

Hi half ton, yer the tank is bare metal polished, done by 8 ball, they do an awesome job..
The exhausts are British customs shorty predators, they sound really good, I also removed the air injection and O2 sensors, followed by a TTP tune, the bike runs perfect I'm really happy with it..
The rear indicators are in the frame tubes, they work ok..
