The problem starts here as you said yours is a 2013 model which comes with can-bus electrics which means it’s very difficult to alter electrical items as the ‘nerve’ system rejects everything the sensors tells the ecu is not what it should be.
    Welcome in btw

Cracking looking bike you have there and that colour will go down a treat on here. The inmates seem to favour that colour. The indicators I seem to like them. Maybe I'm odder than the others. If you are unhappy with them why not swap them for the black versions.

No not unless your good at maths working out currents used from original lights and balancing the difference with resistors for the new system.

You can buy switchable can-bus resistors: https://www.squaredeals-ltd.co.uk/can-bus-resistor-cbw1-46167-p.asp

Although I thought these were only required if fitting LED indicators, however I only have very basic spannering abilities and there any many here with far superior knowledge.

I would contact any retailer before purchase and ask them, and/or after purchasing connect the indicators without permanently fitting and test them out, then return them if they don't work as expected.
