To be totally honest Andy I don't have a clue it was however to good an opportunity to let pass by, Loved the bike but being honest always feared any damage to paintwork by way of silly mistake or bump. Dont you lot go getting worried though Triumph or no Triumph I'm gan nae where and I'll still be at bellingham no matter what
Cheers Andy also meant to add i will be celebrating my birthday while away one of them big 60 numbers you try to cope with away
Did you do anything to resurface the discs or just give them a good cleaning? Wanting to change mine and wondering if just a good scrubbing will get the discs ready for the new pads. Mine have around 6k miles on them, no odd wear noticeable.
There seems to be quite a lot of double posting going on I’ve noticed. Is it something going wrong with the forum or are there quite a few tech retards here?
Picking it up from dealers, then picking it up off the floor when I forgot to put side stand down before getting off, intending to put it on centre stand. D'Oh ! how many years on the planet and still fails to engage brain. No damage done, apart from my ego.
Not today but yesterday. Like somebody else on this forum I went to the Haynes Museum Ride-in yesterday. I took my Speedy and enjoyed a nice ride. There was a very good turnout and there were some beautiful machines there. Thought Dilli might like the Rocket 3 pics ......
Nothing. My 2018 Street Twin is relatively new (4,800 miles) and the disks are in great shape. I just wiped them down w/ brake cleaner.
Yes, Dave, agreed - next time I plan to go I'll let you know beforehand and we'll try to meet up. It was my first time there, too. I'd arranged to meet up with an acquaintance from a Street Triple forum as he volunteers regularly at the museum and was trying to marshall there .... talk about herding cats!
Me and the missus are going on Sunday, can’t wait! Looks like the weather’s going to be pretty good this year too
