Morning guys, I have just got a '94 Sprint 900, and it has a weedy 160 section rear tyre. There is LOADS of space to take a larger wheel, can anyone tell me if there is a wheel that will fit that I can use to up the tyre section to a 180 ?

ok, just found out: 180 will fit.
the rear spindels are the same, the disk aswell and as you say there is plenty of space.
the front might be a bit of a problem.
check the disk sizes and spindle diameter, there are 2 different ones as far as I know, but you should be ok. I'm only saying that 'cause the wheels look different and you might have to change both.
if anybody knows more then please help out here.

I have a couple in mind but it all depends on the pricing. What's your budget?

180 tires can fit onto a 160 rim however be aware that the wider tire on a smaller rim will pull the sidewalls in.
That'll mean the edges of a well used tire may look like they have huge chicken strips but will actually be on the limit.
The 180 on it will also make it turn slower which is something to also bear in mind.

5.5 inch rims are usually good for 180 anything more requires a 6 inch rim
