As a few of you may have seen, I drag race my 765.

I bought it as a replacement for my 955i and Exploder both of which I raced previously.

When I bought the RS, I was expecting it to probably run around the 10.9 second mark once I got used to it, so was happy when I ran a 10.77 in practice a couple of weeks ago.
This weekend in competition I ran another personal best - despite shutting off before the finish line - crossing the line in 10.72. However, being the geek that I am, I have run the numbers through my spreadsheet and working on my times to 1000 feet, had I kept the power on, the bike would have run 10.68 give or take a couple of thousandths of a second.

As a comparison, the Speed Triple R that runs in the same class was running 11.23 best (but I have no doubt once Jake gets a handle on the wheelies, he'll also be in the 10s!)

Awesome bike. My smile gets bigger every time I ride it!

Exactly the colour dilemma I had, don’t fancy a matte finish and white is a tad lairy (although does look pretty in the flesh).

Demo’d a white RS, bought a gloss black one!

I tell everyone that is thinking of buying a Speedie to ride the Street RS before deciding, my view is that the smaller sibling is the better bike ... many won’t agree but just my opinion!

It’s got some punch and a damned sight lighter
