Having some bizarre issues with my 2005 1050 It has problems starting from hot and acts like the battery is flat but starts fine if you leave it 10 minutes to cool down. Also regularly cuts out at low speeds when slowing/stopping. When clutch engaged sometimes the revs will drop below tickover and cut out and above problem applies. Other times the revs will rise to 3000 and I have to switch off and on again. Have tried the 12 minutes on fan reset trick but this will only work for a bit and seems to think it's a lawnmower. WTF Thanks Grumpy Rob's wife Angry Laura
aa think mine has just started to do the same hope someone can shed light on this problem as its iratating
By way of an update The hot start and rev rise problems - Took it to Destination Triumph who updated the map (new one a couple of weeks ago). Seems to have been OK so far £30 well spent Cutting Out - Have now traced this to a possible wiring issue where chafing occurs in wires out of ignition (seen some stuff about this somewhere else on the forum) as it happens when turning the bars. That'll be fun to find but think we're getting a bit closer hope you get yours sorted Laura
