What Does This Connector Do

Hi guys have had my tank off on my 05 daytona 955i to check what air filter was fitted. I reassembled and found this connector underneath tank at back of engine, I can't find anywhere that it will fit but bike seems to run OK. Any ideas???

 

May be for the emissions in the American bike sector?

 

Mmm don't know if my bike is an import think it's a UK model and would have thought they would put a cap on it, very strange. .

 

Either the cap fell off or for optional alarm or heated grips.

 

It's a standard wiring loom for most countries. That plug is for the California market to activate a solenoid for the emmissons canister. Either that or it's for the 4th injector from a 4 cylinder model. It's not used on your bike, ignore it.

 

Sounds about right it being a 4th injector connector and triumph using same loom on different models. Cheers.

I can relax then, just wanted to be sure as put new map on ecu today and wow different bike
