Yep as much as I loved the thunderbird storm I just got a new 2015 speed triple R in white. Didn't lose too much on the storm and Triumph deal giving me arrows, anodised brake fluid reservoirs, fly screen, belly pan, seat cowl and gel seat. Was not so bad. Not forgetting the suspension, so a lot of kit for the money. Triumph have dropped the carbon fibre now like the did the PVM wheels, as costing them too much? Not complaining I never was a fan of the look of the wheels. So back to getting tail tidies, mirrors, crash bungs and rad guards!
Although a fan of the round headlights on the pre 2011 speed/Street triples, I really like the newer shape lights, I think they suit well. Single headlights really need to be round, hated the gsr, Fz1 shape
did much the same after doing 12000Ks on a commander decided i really am not a cruiser person so swapped it for a 14 speed triple R one of my better moves
