Hi, just joined, been riding adventure bikes for last 30 years, just gone on to the America (2012) with 8000k having a little trouble adjusting to the completely different ride, especially the running boards and fwd control also wind buffet, whats the best screen?

Welcome from sunny California. I do not recommend a fly screen as they don't protect much. Suggest a larger screen. I have the Triumph long haul screen on my Street Twin and it does a good job. I assume Triumph makes a similar size for the America.
Hello and welcome to the forum. Triumph do sell a full length, quick release screen which is standard in the LT America. Just bear in mind, that i'm 6'1 and found the top of the screen was in my eye line so I've taken it off.
