    Hey all,
Now I know open face isn’t the normal apparel for a Speed Triple but seen this and thought “WoooooW, I want one. So just bought one, arriving Wednesday, also got the dark smoke visor and the orange bubble visor too..
What’s people’s thoughts? I think it would look the nutts and different from the standard full face you see on a Speedy.

You like it so that's good with me. Myself I prefer the full face. But they all are tested to the same standards so safety wise the should doe the job. We don't want a picture of you sitting on the bike we want the bike full view.

    Hey Joe,

That isn’t me, that’s a stock pic.. I was showing what it looks like with the dark smoke visor ....
I wanted to know peoples thoughts about wearing an open face on a speed triple, I’m fully aware of personal preference but I don’t want to look a tool ;)

I knew that. Personally no I would not wear it and would go for full face. But I have never ever cared what others think. I do what suits me. My personal thoughts is your bike warrants a good full face. But its your bike its your hat so its your choice.

    Thanks Joe,
I don’t care what people think either but that’s not the reason I wouldn’t go out on my bike wearing a pink flowery onzie... it’s because I would look like an absolute door KNOB.... catch my drift Joe...

    I do have a Shoei XR1100 too:yum

OMG! @Blackcat you don’t pull trailers and drink JD too do you? Dilli’s got a mate and we all thought it would never happen in our lifetime!
Oh and to get back on track. I wear both on thruxton 900 and tiger 800 but I will admit the full face is a lot more comfortable for distance riding

Each to their own ultimately, but I'm not a fan of open face or even opening front helmets if I'm honest... Both the look of them and the safety aspect.

However when I likely buy a chopper or custom bike then I'll probably do it haha!
