Organised and led the first ride out of the Milton Keynes branch of the Owners Club today. 17 bikes, one pillion, two drones. Nice day, good company, cracking roads. Parked up here outside Kimbolton School.

Met a bunch of guys from "Scotland Hinckley Triumph Owners Club" near the Tay bridge and had a run down to Bo'ness where "Café racer" hold an annual bike meet, this was the first run the SHTOC have organised so it was a decent turn out. bumped into @lexy and Mrs Lexy

Yes If you take the opportunity to improve the porting when you have the Cylinder Head off, then get it tuned to suit !

Ordered a Palmer products adjustable screen kit and accessory bar on Friday and blow me it turned up this morning at 7 AM. 30 minutes later had the kit fitted. Very well made, all stainless steel, no filing or bodging required. All fitting included so no delving in the toolboxes for washers etc. Must say it looks a bit GS style screen now. Had a short hour ride out and all i can say once adjusted via the quick knobs, i found the perfect setting. No buffering around my helmet and shoulders. I can even keep my visor open without water pouring from my eyes at 70 plus. Well worth the money and highly recommended. Will be a bonus on my yearly trip to non-Europe countries this year. Palmer products make many accessories for Triumphs.
Heres a couple of pictures from their site as i forgot to take my camera.

After Easter weekend I'll also be able to tell you if the 765 is quicker than the 1050 in a straight line too - there's an S3 1050 entered in the same class as me at the Pod. Mine's standard and I've no idea yet what mods Jake's bike has. I'll keep you posted. :)

A dremel might do some good ! But I went out and bought a cheap air grinder and a suitable cutting tool to fit inside the inlet and exhaust tracts. I found the inlets were very poorly contoured/shaped ! The bottom of the tracts wasn't a very well shaped gradual curve , it had very sharp angle , so the air flow would be very poor. There was almost a ski jump there ! So an extremely sharp direction change which would cause very poor gas flow..!
So look especially closely at inlets , exhaust's weren't too bad .. !
