    Compression has been tested,
    Unless it's jumped a tooth timing is the same as the day I bought it
    there isn't a vacum tap

    Define air if you mean an air leak checked by spraying wd40

    It's the most unreliable motorcycle I have ever owned. Once it fires it runs and handles like a dream.
    But unfortunately that doesn't out weigh the fact you can't plan to use it as it just won't start when you need it.

    Have you checked the fuses?
    Transistor Controlled Ignition unit. Just a guess, it may not have one.

    To be honest I've not checked the fuses with the engine spinning over and having sparks at the plugs. But I will check later

    Just take it to a favoured bike mechanic for diagnosis rather than throwing in the towel and breaking it mate :worried::worried:

    I have heared of lads with Tbirds having issues with the sensors . might be worth a try . maybe its sparking at the wrong time or not sparking at all ... ..
