    My bonnerville T140D 1980 keeps burning out right hand plug.cost me more in plugs then fuel. Bike rebuilt from ground up running on NGK B6ES but still carbons up...help

    Hi, rec plug is the Champion N5C set at 20 thou not 25, best NGK is the 7ES at 20 thou if you have to use them. Saying that the problem is probably your carbs :)

    Hello and welcome ...as darkman says probably carb imbalance have you checked the jets and needle positions? could be a badly worn needle jet, could also be bad ring seal causing carbon etc i run one step hotter plugs and smaller main jets in my T160.

    I used to live down south and went to school in Rye.
