    Hello,
New to this forum. I have had several Triumphs over the years (Bonnie, Thunderbird Sport and Explorer) and have just taken delivery of a new Speed Twin last week, which I LOVE.
I am looking to keep in touch with other new owners.
    Cheers

I had a test ride on one today and it was amazing. I loved it too. Not sure if I’m going to become a new owner through. Enjoy the new bike.

Due to pick mine up in 3 weeks (trading in my Tbird 900) and can't wait. How are you finding it so far. In particular rank range.

    Thanks Dave!
Harvey, that’s funny - I have a Thunderbird Sport (03) as well which I love but can’t justify two bikes now, so will have to go unfortunately. I was thinking of the Bonnie 120 or the Thruxton R but saw this on the factory floor at Hinckley and loved the look of it. The Speed Twin is amazing to ride. It feels really light and is great around town. I am still running it in and the roads have been pretty wet up here on Exmoor but so far it feels great on the twisty roads. I would say it rides a bit like an old Speed Triple. Tank range not really tested yet, but I filled it up and it said 145 miles range.

Thanks I have owned mine for three and a half years . Been a great bike but want something a bit newer .Tried the new street scrambler but it felt a bit small physically for me( and that exhaust is hot against the leg). Saw the speed twin and thought while I am here I might as well try and just loved it. They offered me more in part exchange than I paid for my Tbird so both my heart and head told me "Life is too short buy the damn bike". Tank range and long ride comfort are a concern as I do a four day tour each year. However I had to fill up the Tbird every 120 miles so sure I will adapt.
