Hi, returning to two wheels on a speed twin after many years. Wondering if anyone has any advice on refresher training in the Folkestone area?
Welcome aboard John, hope you enjoy the forum, very sensible to consider a refresher course, not my neck of the woods but I'm sure they'll be members along soon who can give sound advice, enjoy your new steed and ride safe.
Something I found this week on a bmw forum........ An instructor in Kent... Ive been training learner mototorcyclists for nearly 9 years now, and in that time have also trained some returning bikers. Recently, I decided to sign up to offer the DVSA's Enhanced Rider Scheme. It has been revamped recently, and I thought that it was sufficiently structured and flexible for me to "give it a go". So far, all my ERS customers have ridden BMWs, and mainly GS's. I am wondering how long it will be until I see a owners of a few other brands make an appearance. If anyone on here is interested in the ERS scheme and wants to know more, please contact me. This is not a commercial, as I am in Kent and I know most members here are all over the country. But it could be a flexible way of gaining further knowledge without having to join a club etc, which I know many people dont like. http://www.invictamotorcycletraining.co.uk/
