    Greetings

I am working with Nova Motorcycles of Turners Falls, MA to restore a 1970 Triumph Trophy 250.

It is a “one lunger” and a good match for the backroads near Quabbin Reservoir. Nova has done a terrific job upgrading and replacing most systems.

The most noticeable changes are the single seat and the BSA Victor Style exhaust with peanut muffler.

It is a rider, not a showpiece. I am trying to match up the blue paint that I believe is original.

Suggestions are welcome. Best regards to all.

Hi and welcome. I learned to ride on a BSA Starfire 250 which is essentially the same, dont think I have ever seen the Triumph Trophy 250 in blue, in the UK they were usually red. Look forward to seeing pics

Thank you for the warm welcome!

It appears that the stock color for a 1970 TR250 was red.

My bike was probably repainted at some point. It is blue with white/cream color pintstriping on the fenders.

It is in the shop getting a chain guard installed so I can get it registered for use on the road.

When I get it back, I will take a close up of the fender for color matching purposes.

    Best regards to all,
